Global, regional and local support exists for all aspects of PROFINET and PROFIBUS ranging from self teaching via web-based training programmes through to comprehensive design and certification support.

The PI community includes 25 Regional PI Associations (RPAs), backed up by PICCs (PI Competence Centers) and PITLs (PI Test Laboratories) which provide comprehensive technical and marketing help. Local training is also available from a variety of sources.
