PROFINET Test Laboratories
Certification Tests in accordance with the related PROFINET Test Specifications are executed in authorised PITLs, of which meanwhile 10 are authorised world-wide to test in the defined focus. PITL stands for PI Test Laboratory, that is a test center authorized by PI to execute certification tests for PROFINET and/or PROFIBUS devices. For details about a certification test for your device, you may contact one of the Test Laboratories listed below.
Certification plays a major role, as certified products ensure interoperability and conformance with the standard. Many end-users are aware of this and only buy products when they're certified.
